OUR STORY

A legacy of dreaming & making, carried forward.

TinMen's story begins with Jack Tinsley, equal parts visual artist and engineer, whose career in film and production stretches back to the early 1980s. Growing up surrounded by his father's work - from paintings that filled their family home to the cameras, crews, and people he worked alongside - David learned early that creativity and craft go hand in hand. David went on to earn a degree in Media Production from Florida State University in 2005 before beginning his own career in Orlando.

In 2008, father and son founded TinMen together, carrying that experience to a new generation. What began as lessons passed from father to son became a shared pursuit of craftsmanship, curiosity, and finding better ways to tell a story.

Today, David carries that legacy forward alongside his sister, Kelly Tinsley, a Valencia College Film Program graduate with more than 25 years production experience. Side by side, they've grown TinMen into a globally trusted creative partner, combining decades of production experience with a modern approach to storytelling, experiences, and collaboration.

The tools continue to change, but the philosophy remains the same: honor what came before, bring something meaningful to the work, and leave it better for what comes next.
